Good analysis, Dan. But I would add that she was thinking about all the dems around her clapping enthusiastically for Bush and realizing that her chance to divide the country for her campaign has been washed away, at least in the short term. Her political ambition (the presidency) is in jeopardy and she now has to pretend she's a New Yorker and help the 'little people' clean up the city. It's not what she bargained for and she's pissed.
