Well, Bush's talk last night basically leaves US no room to backup. A war is inevitable unless we live in Hollywood movies where Harrison Ford or Tom Cruise can single-handedly save the world from disaster.

I have no doubt that US will win in the end. However, I do not see that we can kill Bin Laden without using some extreme measures (like resorting to nuclear weapon). And it seems that some clues point to the fact that dozens of terrorist groups are involved in this attack, and Bin Laden might be only one of those that played a significant role.

If a second round or third round attack materializes in the next several weeks as been heavily rumored, and significant damage (both properties and lives) are seen, the market can tank another 25% within a short period of time for sure. (Rumor also says that they will target Paris, Rome, Florence, and Venice in the near future). Hope that these things are just, rumor.

BTW, I heard some interesting rumors and am wondering any of you have heard of the same thing:
1) An English company asked all its employees retrieve from WTC one day before the attack;
2) Israel workers were all asked NOT to go to work at WTC on Sept. 11th;
3) FBI is investigating a firm who was heavily shorting airline industry stocks in the days before the attack.

larry!
