Gao Seng, free people everywhere stand with America despite what politicians may say or do. Your president has made it clear what he expects of the nations of the world. America has friends. Lots of them. The real friendship of the nations of the world is among peoples not politicians. I have a friend who grew up not far from the WTC. His mother saw the whole thing happening on September 11th from the window of her apartment. A whole different thing than watching it on television. Two of his cousins worked on the 64th floor of one of the two WTC towers. They were unaccounted for for two days. Lucky lads were late for work that morning but they were stuck in the chaos of New York City and their families didn't know if they were alive or dead. Something unimaginable in the terms of understanding anothers grief and loss and yet they were the lucky ones. Their story had a happy ending if there can be such a thing in the circumstances of September 11th. Their loved ones came home. All of them changed forever but still alive. Still together. People across the globe share your grief, anger, and outrage only mildly tempered by distance. No country in the world would let something like this go unanswered and perhaps America least of all. We all have a long way to go before the end of events although the American people have perhaps farther to go than the rest of us. Don't let the hate burn you out or turn you into something that you are not in the first few days. If you do then the terrorists and those that support them have won another small victory. A few hundred million small victories like that and the terrorists have won what they really want which is to make America live just like them. Take care, Kowboy
