You hit the nail and here lies the problem I think.

The numbers suggest by Veneroso (10,000-15,000) tons over 10 years do not show on the demand side from the jewelry trade and investment market.

The demand/supply numbers support a much lower number of 4500-5000 tons coming from the leased side. This is the number suggested by GFMS and WGC.

So I am having problems to reconcile all this. I'have ask an expert on this and hope to get an answer soon.
