From www.amati.com/jobs.html : Department: Operations Code: SM01 Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer (1) Primary product responsibilities include mechanical design review, prototype coordination, and system configuration. Additional responsibilities include writing production process procedures compliant with ISO 9000, floor layouts and workcell designs, designing/testing shipment packaging and performing supplier surveys. Requires a BS with a minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent. Computer literacy and project planning skills are a must, CAD experience is desirable. Knowledge of datacomm and telecomm, especially related to NEBS and the central office environment, is a plus. The successful candidate must be self-driven, have the ability to switch priorities quickly and poessess good oral and written communication skills.
