I realize that peace partner is a highly subjective term. Perhaps if Saddat were still around, who knows.

Its still a highly troubling development. I have to imagine that these countries have been told clearly what 'are you with us or against us' means.

Sigh.

PS: Found this amusing. Arafat can ensure the saftey of Austrians despite claiming to be unable to stop his people at other times.
