This is a difficult thought to have but:
Even if we have done things that have encouraged this (which no doubt we have, such as training of the robotic suicidal terrorists in highly sophisticated organizational, tactical, brainwashing, and propaganda techniques, making them incredibly effective at evading detection and wreaking devastation on our homeland), the truth is that we must, in any case, seize and defeat these terrorists.
They are now on automatic pilot, following their leaders. We have to change their leaders, change their minds, or kill them, at least the suicidal ones.
Hopefully most of the cell supporters and nation-states are not suicidal, and will be amenable to discussion, rather than absolute destruction. Regardless, we no longer have any option but to act. |
