Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is to visit several European countries next week in order to promote his idea of convening an international conference under UN auspices to fight terrorism, Israel Radio reported.

That sounds a lot like the Taliban asking for evidence against Bin Laden when all of it implicating him and his organization for the 1998 embassy bombings is in the public record.

I have a feeling President Bush expected this - remember last night he mentioned three terrorist organizations by name, and one of them was the Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Scratch one "moderate" state; enter one siding with the terrorists which shall henceforth be considered a hostile regime.
