Best I can tell, this becomes the worst week of all time if the Dow gets to 8116.

Historically, when the percentage loss gets this bad, that presages a bottom. 1933 and 1987 come to mind immediately.

Note that all the way down, since early 2000, we haven't had any of those horrid weeks. On the contrary, every single one of the best days in Nasdaq history have occurred during the drop.

I sure wish I believed my technical mumbo jumbo right now.
