According to a radar track taken from a long-range radar installation at Dulles, the aircraft was but began gradually turning toward the southeast more than 10 miles away from the restricted airspace that surrounds the White House. At that point the plane was headed directly toward the Pentagon. The plane was traveling at 460 mph. 460/60 is 7.7 miles a minute. So 10 miles away or 1.3 minute away the plane was headed due east, generally toward the White House. What decision would you make with 1.3 minutes left???? tom watson tosiwmee
