Exactly what I fear. IF they are as smart as some give them credit, they would calculate just how far they could go on the first round without having the ENTIRE world come down on them. Had they used a chemical, biological, or nuclear attack FIRST, that would undoubtedly have happened. You see how much of the ARAB world has NOT come out completely against them, and even how some European countries have said they will NOT participate in military action with the USA? They now wait for USA response which they HOPE will kill some civilians, or be able to be interpreted as an attack on their race or religion or somehow unrelated to the WTC incident. In their distorted frame of mind, this will then give them the excuse they need to use a weapon of mass destruction "in good conscience."

Twisted, but very scary indeed. Rumors flying everywhere in many cities about possible attacks this weekend. I hope USA intelligence is smart enough (and USA public is patient enough) to deal with this problem WITHOUT a lot of press. From a military standpoint, I think MASS assassination would achieve better results. It all depends on whether the terrorists need a highly visible response from the USA (and they want some world support at least from some other ARABS) or whether they are merely waiting to justify their next actions by appeasing their false "god."
