Well you are dealing with a richie who claims to be an
engineer. Any way if you were dealing with only 8 points
of the compass the each point would cover an equal 45
degrees and both 3 and 355 would be considered north. With
16 points 3 and 355 would be considered north.

And even if you were using 32 points 3 and 355 would be
considered north. At 32 points a point covers 11.25
degrees. So 355 would be north and nor North By West that
is centered at 345 45'

I'm always amazed how someone who claims to be an engineer
like richie can be unable to express concise descriptions.
