I've had better days. My sister, a nurse and captain in the Army Reserve, got called up today and is heading to Texas and from there who knows where. My nephew just graduated from college in ROTC and is going to finish his advance training in the next few months. He's a go getter, and decided to spend one summer in Alaska in a program dedicated to mountain combat. I'm sure they will both do fine, but it does it bring home what lies ahead.
