RE: Layered cd/1.44 laptop drives

I am surprised that nobody has considered the implications of the new cd/1.44 drives coming out in laptops. It is potetially damaging to the LS-120's backward compatibility. Most laptop users will want a cd; therefore, two drives will be necessary for either a LS-120 or ZIP. With an LS-120 the user would select a regular cd drive. With a Zip they would select a cd/1.44 combo. Anyway, the backward compatibility issues for laptops is getting weaker and weaker.

Long and enjoying,

John

Just watch the story unfold. IOM is buildig momentummmmmmmmm.
