I'm not stupid --or, at least, THAT stupid-- to buy that "continuity-of-the-executive" baloney --not on Thursday 19th, as Bush delivered his historical address within the precincts of Capitol Hill... All of America's political powers that be were attending that speech --less Dick Cheney: all the Chiefs of Staff, Powell, Rumsfeld, Condi Rice, all Senators and House Reps, including Hillary, Britain's PM TONY BLAIR, all the Supreme Justices (Rehnquist & Co), NY Mayor Giuliani, Gov Patakis, etc, etc, etc... AND YOU WANT TO BULLSHIT ME with that "safeguarding-the-executive" twaddle?? Even if a bomb had wiped out Capitol Hill, wouldn't you find it scary to be left with Cheney only??
