| Thirteen countries were lauded by Bush for their support and solidarity in the wake of the attacks. Britain, France, Germany, Korea, Egypt, Australia, Pakistan, Israel, India, El Salvador, Iran, Mexico and Japan. Yet not Canada. Canadians donated and continue to donate blood for NYC. Thousands of American citizens were welcomed into Canadian homes, across the country, when all flights were grounded and not permited to land in the U.S. in the aftermath of the attacks. Canada was the first country to provide additional specialized rescue equipment for lifting debris in NY. The U.S. government expects Canada to offer military support in its campaign. I guess it's as DMA says, the U.S. doesn't need to express its gratitude, Canadians should express there gratitude for being able to help. Sure. |
