It may have been a blessing in disguise. I've been avoiding EMC on purpose for a few months now. Many of their customers don't like them and they are facing intense competition from Hitachi and IBM. Even Sun Micro and Compaq are out to the get them. The technology gap between EMC's and the competition has decreased. Given that they are still trading at 3x revenue, I don't consider them bargain enough to buy while the trend is clearly downwards. good luck with your trades, ST
