How can anyone tell that the children there today won't be tomorrow's terrorists?

By your logic, then its time to bomb 1/2 or all of Ireland out of existance as well. There's probably some extremists wearing pointy white hats some remote areas of the US, shall we bomb them too? They have children too, according to reports. What about the McVeigh's of the world? Kill their complete family tree? What if a decendant were to seek revenge for his punishment? Better get on that one right away.

I think in this war you have to THINK like the enemy to defeat the enemy. Don't think they won't use the women and children as shields, the cowards, because women and children are on the same scale as goats to them. Then what do you do?

That is a different issue. It may be that there is no choice in certain circumstances. It may also be that waiting for a more opportune moment is the plan.

However in reading the posts of you, john, and of numerous others, it sounds to me that the solution you advocate is to commit genocide. "Kill em all". Bomb the pyramids, who needs them anyways. Wipe out entire cities, perhaps countries.

If we have sunk to that level then we have already lost.

I'm all for appropriate and decisive use of military force, but killing off millions of people is not the answer.
