It may be hard for us technical/analytical types to swallow, but I don't know of anyone who has reduced trading to anything like a deterministic set of rules.

This is likely because the most successful of these kinds of traders do not want others to know the degree of their successes. Some of the largest and most successful traders in the markets are actually computers, not people. These people/computers make tens of millions of dollars a year, with small drawdowns. Putting myself in their position, what possible advantage could I achieve by advertising or publicizing my winnings? None. This would only create additional competitors for them. I can assure you, however, that they exist and are extremely successful.
