Oh the ACLU is already concerned because of this religious fanatic's actions, the government is shutting up and thus setting back their cause. But it has to happen to help save the lives of our children go to fight for the right to choice and live freedom from those whose would impose their beliefs on us one and all.
I get so tired of the threats from religious extremists who flat out ignore the basic precepts of democracy or even civilization. It is almost as if in their minds, they are not subject to the mere laws of man as was just demonstrated by the comment to choose to run stop signs and scholl zone. But then again like terrorist they answer to their sole constituency whether it be Allah, Buddha, Jehova or whatever is their version of God.
What is so danger is the perversion of their religious beliefs they believe gives them the excuse to commit murderous atrocities in the name of whatever is their version of God.
None of the normal rules law or decency apply to religious extremists. They will do anything to impose their will on others, and I mean anything. Some graduate to the point that they think nothing of slaughtering people who disagree with them. But then again you have to remember if you disagree with them, they call you heretics, infidels, non-believers, the spawn of Satan. Thus they attempt to coldly dehumanize their opponents. Thus it makes it easier to hate them and to convince others to hate them.
This will be forth coming as we enter into this Holy War.

Their version of religion is not based on love of humanity. It is firmly rooted in hate, a hate so strong it propels them to do unspeakable acts, like bombing the marine barracks in Beirut or unleashing nerve gas in a crowded subway in Tokoyo. Hate feeds their fanaticism, and nothing can penetrate the wall that protects their beliefs from the intrusion of the real world - the world the rest of us live in. |
