John, I am in fact hearing a different story...

from the local Heidelburg center in my area...they say no problem with the PRST technology and they are not aware of the previous posted claims on this thread that stated that PRST is not producing an excellent product for their Quickmaster press.

As I am sure there are many employees of Heidelburg that do not own PRST stock, what I am actually interested in, is why your "contact" with Heidelburg claims "With what he knows now, he would never buy the stock" Well, for what reason would he refuse to purchase now? Who is he? Would he speak by phone to other PRST stockholders? What has he got against PRST? Also, What gave him the opportunity to buy at $35? A special offer? As it must have been prior to the peak of 200, does he not regret missing his opportunity back then? Even at todays price , it is still an 85% gain.

Also, read again my last post to Pierre. Had you been at the printers shop, you would have assumed his share numbers as I did.

Would very much appreciate your response. Certainly, if you have information that is more than just opinion and is substantial, I for one am interested to hear you out.

Did you receive your Quickmaster DI yet? If not, when do you expect it? Which center did you order it from? You state you have waited for nearly a year and a half. Would you have information on the number of presses that are under order at this time? Does Heidelburg provide the expected wait for a new Quickmaster to those that place an order now? Do you have information on current Heidelburg production numbers...also for say May and June? In a recent prior post, Tom had indicated a source that claimed 8 Quickmasters a day being produced???? Is this even possible?

Do you have any information as to what volume of production you will be using your Quickmaster for? Do you mind releasing the price you have paid? You had stated that this press would be used to fill a nich in your print business. I would expect though, that you would use it enough to make your purchase profitable. How often then would you be running it? Daily? I know I have asked many questions. Do you intend to use PRST plates or make your own? Is it possible to make your own plates or do you have to use PRST?

John, I have had to weigh your posts against others that have also ordered the Quickmaster and those that have used it and love it due to the time saved as well as the profits and lower cost to their clients. I so far have failed to understand why this would not continue in a big way with many other printers also using the Quickmaster and PRST plates.

Please respond with your thoughts and opinions. Only a fool would maintain a point of view that is not changeable when provided verifiable fact. Make me your challange....give me something more than just future technology from other competitors. I am under the impression that printers have no problem with PRST plates and are converting existing to PEARL plate setters. True or not?

Regards,

Neil
