JLA, notwithstanding Tom's response to you (and all of Cyberkens posts), I think Patricia's point merits a bit more consideration. Unity is a two-way street.

There will be lots of time next month or next year to attach responsibility (apart from the terrorists, of course) for what happened last week. At this time, however, unprovoked attacks on Dem leaders, or folks who have criticized the President before 9/11, don't further the interests of presenting a united front. Rather, they could have the effect of eroding support for the administration by those who have thus far been entirely supportive. I think the President and Rep congressional leaders recognize this, and it deserves some thought by folks here as well.
