I wanted to compliment you on a thoughtful response to what I am sure was a ridiculous assertion. George made my ignore list on Sept.12 over on the thread started by T Lo. It has been a little discouraging reading some of the posters who believe the U.S. is responsible for every injustice in the world (all our sins and then some). There allegedly is an old Chinese custom whereby if you save a drowning mans' life you are forevermore responsible for that man. Or, as my brother is fond of saying, "no good deed goes unpunished". There is a perverse wisdom there somewhere. ARS
