Great story. Reminds me of a divorce case I know about. Husband was a physician and married his second wife the day before his divorce from his first wife became final. They were married several years and the 2nd wife filed for divorce and claimed alimony. The physician husband defended the claim for divorce by claiming (successfully) that the marriage to his current wife was not valid since at the time of the marriage he was still married to his former wife. The physician won the first round. The court agreed that there was no marriage and denied alimony. The wife then sued the husband for assault, battery and repeated rapes (based on fraud) and she won a large verdict far more than the alimony would have been -- and the husband was prosecuted for bigamy based on his own statements in the divorce case.
