I read a Jim-Clancy-kind of book 20 years ago, where the conflict ends with Saudi oil fields getting nuked to eternity - all the alpha, beta and gamma emitters make the desert shine in the night - Of course the main guy flees, before its too late, in a chopper full of gold - lets not forget his girl in the passanger seat -.
