Fingerprint data base is integrated from police-FBI-banks...
and is still lightyears ahead of DNA scanning systems, eye recognition systems.
We will be adjusting our way of life in this country.

The INS uses live scan electronic fingerprint scanning systems to digitally capture and electronically submit benefits applicants' fingerprint images to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The systems are also used to expedite applicant processing for immigrants and permanent residents that are awaiting visas or otherwise wishing to adjust their status in this country.
-----------
An integrated live-scan fingerprinting system that captures, prints and transmits fingerprints without the use of ink.

the FingerPrinter makes live-scan technology available to a wide range of applications and customers and is ideal for applicant processing, enrollment processing and law enforcement booking applications where space and price are prime considerations.

The FingerPrinter can be installed in any office and is designed for use on standard tabletops or desktops. The system arrives configured to your requirements and can be set up and operational within two hours. Its easy-to-follow menus and on-screen prompts help operators quickly become proficient with the system. All fingerPrinter functions may be selected by pressing on one of six lighted buttons: "Up," "Down," "Yes," "No," "Capture" and "Special."

now that sounds EASI huh..

Enabling the association of human actions with identity through biometrics.
Our business responds to significant existing and emerging needs in a networked society. It is built on the premise that in a modern society many daily actions require identification of those committing them. Actions require authority and privilege, establishing both requires knowledge of identity — hence our business.
Among such actions we include

financial transactions,
check-in or boarding planes,
crossing borders,
casting votes,
access to facilities, databases or privileged information, etc.

The need for identification extends beyond "permission" or "voluntary" to "non-cooperative" identification in

security or surveillance,
identity fraud
criminal justice & law enforcement
In these scenarios society has the right to identify criminals and the need to protect itself from their actions.
The need for associating actions with identity will only continue to grow as more nodes of access through the internet, more methods of conducting business and facilitating human interaction and more devices that enable this whole process proliferate.

The company’s four lines of business – FaceIt®, Live Scan, IBIS, BNA – are all related to the central mission of associating human actions with their identity.
