Secondly, how confident of your managerial abilities. Carl did express in his opinion that money wasn't everything. He gave good advice. If I believed in my ability to take a managerial position, I would take the risk. But management can eat your heart out if you don't have the confidence to make tough decisions. You sound confident. If so, go for it. Also, the ability to show managerial ability will broaden your horizons far beyond your current status; and could easily lead to $100,000 plus options; or no job.. But, if you are good, jobs can be had.
