Abdullah Abdullah said that today on cnn, msnbc, and/or fox.he was perplexed as to why u.s. was working with these groups in pakistan.

btw pakistan set off atom bombs and u.s. imposed sanctions, some of which were just lifted. this could be more serious than forgiving some of $35 billion debt.

btw, i have no good answers as to what u.s. should do.

perhaps, now, only thirty countries, 20 corporations, 5 individuals, and four terrorist groups can kill millions of u.s. citizens. and perhaps only 2 want to. but, the numbers who will have the ability to kill tens of millions of u.s. citizens will grow exponentially this century. we should not provide them with a "rational" reason to do so or threaten to do so. we have always rewarded kidnappers and terrorists even to "save" one life. what will we do when a million lives are at stake. what can we do with the completely irrational who just want to kill u.s. citizens. perhaps the beatniks were 50 years to early.
