Looks like the hawks won over the doves within the current GWB administration, if one takes the wording serious, see Mrs. "Terrier" Rice opinions,... A balanced approach, as previously expressed by Colin Powell is missing now.

Removing the Taliban regime from power will only destabilise the Central Asian region and not contribute to the clarification and perhaps prevention of terrorist attacks. Has the GWB administration learned nothing....or is it made up to deceive the public?

The other thing is that "we" see words not deeds. A flurry of orders but "nothing done". The major problem will be that the US public will get impatient..., being fed with empty hopes, weekly...
