Yes, Clinton was distracted from matters of national security by unending inquiries into his sex life, and 20 year old business dealings. Radical Republicans who so distracted our Commander-in-Chief from his important duties refuse, of course, to accept one iota of blame.

Eisenhower & Kennedy were no saints, but in that era opposition party leaders knew that years of inquiries into their personal affairs would weaken the country in the face of external threats.

Today's radical Republican leaders are not of that caliber. Deny it if you wish, but it's the truth.
