Gottfried and threaders, Following is the DW data including the close of the day Friday, 9/21/01. What a difference a few days makes. Compare the 17th with an average DW sector of 34.6% to the current DW average at the close of 9/21 of 22.901%. Therefore, the average DW sectors is in the oversold area. Currently, there are NO sector in the overbought range. I continually have remind myself that that those sectors of stocks above the 70% (overbought) must drop below the 50 percentile in order to give us the mean, 50 percentile. Buyer beware.
