$vix since '98 i should say give or take a few points , now showing Bearish ingulfer on Friday's action; now could have ST bounce soon Still.... when the babies are get thrown out with the bathwater, it's a good time to see which ones can swim. This downdraft in earnings is probably going to put some companies that were barely hanging on out of biz totally never to return. And when we see growth again, what will happen when there are less competitors and fewer stocks to buy? Betting on the end of the world isn't a good bet because it only happens once.<< Betting on the end of the world? I don't follow that logic, but i'm betting on symmetric move down on the other side of the long term trend lines on Spx and Indu as Ndx. Additionally, i think we will see negative qtrs of GDP in 2002 -- No recovery in Economy for 2002.
