Hi Bonnie,
Hendrik Hertzberg writing in the current, (9/24/01) issue of the "The New Yorker".. Referring to the gesture of solidarity by our allies in regard to the recent terrorist attacks..
"This gesture of solidarity puts to shame the CONTEMPT(caps mine) the Bush Administration has consistently shown for international treaties and instruments, including those in areas relevant to the fight against terrorism, such as small arms control, criminal justice, and nuclear proliferation"
On another note, about a month ago, I got into a p!ssing match with most all here, a few exceptions, about joking about violence and threats of violence.I even mentioned airport security was no joking matter THEN... I still don't think it is..NOW, I wonder how they think now..
I would rather make jokes about life, love, and music or I would rather make love, boogie to music and to live life and let others also..
