Stephen,
You wrote: "These so called innocents, which in Afghanistan number in the millions, allow the Taliban to rule."
No, they are not in millions to support the Taliban regime. They are many opponents, which each day risk their life, to deliver their country from this fascist regime. This latter is not different from the one of Hitler, Pinochet and all the tyrants who had lived and still live on this planet.
They are doing executions in a stadium in front of people that they have picked up in the streets, in the aim, to scare them. On a affaire ici at barbarous executions: gorge tranchée, pendaison, tir à but portant.
Using fear technics, 30 000 to 50 000 persons can rule the lives of million of persons.
The sad thing, about all this, is that it took a terrorist attack in the heart in the United Stated to wake up the world about this evil regime.
I hope one day, that free country, will stop to deal and encourage (directly and indirectly) fascist regimes (Pakistan included). But for that, our elites will have to understand that the respect of human being has no price (particulary in term of oil).
Have a good night all,
Yours truly,
