Revisit Fairfax. Prem Watsa had the forethought to buy $1 billion notional value in S&P500 puts with 1250 strike, ~$140 million in NASDAQ puts, and $5.5 billion in "put" bonds. This covers the estimated max payout from WTC of $125 million and more. They should really be able to take advantage of the soaring prices that will inevitably follow.
