Hi, is anyone following DRS Technologies (DRS, amex)? This company has three major operating groups, Electronic Systems Group (ESG), the Electro-Optical Systems Group (EOSG) and the Flight Safety and Communications Group (FSCG). The ESG provides combat display workstations to military and intelligence agencies. The systems are used on Aegis destroyers and cruisers, aircraft carriers, subs and surveillance aircraft (UAVs). The EOSG manufactures thermal imaging and targeting systems used on the Abrams tank and the Bradley Infantry fighting vehicle. The FSCG is the leading supplier of "black box" recorders and this division manufactures the weapons calibration systems used on the Apache helicopter and the AC-130U gunship. DRS is trading near 32.
