If the vix drops below 30 on a 5-10% rally I would look at this as bearish. Id like to see the vix to stay high, depicting sceptiscism and fear remaining in the market. Id like it to see market rally and Vix move only marginally. We are at 48 and we will drop from these frothy levels, but id like the VIX to stay above 30. In my opinion they trend is, and will be intact though we should get the Mutha of rallies today.
