Chemical & Biological programs of Terrorist States just mentioned on CNBC... Bin Laden just called for the Pakistani Muslims to rise up against the American "crusade".... MeThink's that "crusade" word may hit home...before this is all over. As pessimistic and fatalistic as it sounds; you simply must price in the potential & possibility of another series of domestic terrorist attacks and perhaps the unthinkable/unmentionable - possibility of a biologic, or chemical act.... if this happens - there will be sheer panic and what happens in the US Market may pale in comparison to what happens in the American psyche and base economy... Yes, we will both survive and win this battle; but the realities of the costs & actions involved are being grossly discounted and this market remains quite unbelieveable at still historically exhuberant valuation levels and any exodus of foreign investment, or a falling dollar - which by the way is the proverbial "Catch-22" for Greenspan here...given that a weaker dollar causes foreign repatriation and a strong dollar causes/sustains a US Corporate earnings & Industry collapse... more pain & more reality to come imho.
