I am of the opinion that the so called money managers panicked since the attack on America was an attack on our financial institutions. The average investor did what I am telling my clients to do, "buy the companies that are on sale"! Don't sell unless you need the money. If you need the money sell a portion, not the entire portfolio. Let's face it, it is awful to think of the attack and murder of innocent citizens. It is awful to contemplate that it could have been us or our loved ones. Many of those who read this have lost loved ones by the way. I have a strong faith in America. The rest of the world has a strong faith in America. As you all have known I hold an inordinately large position in Sun Microsystems. But even at its lowest, I had faith in this company, its management, worker, products and patents. I believe that Sun Micro was battered by the events we are living under, but will be a part of the re-building of our country.
