The Bear Stearns note offers further confirmation that Paul Allen's sale of INSP stock was motivated by tax considerations: Vulcan sold the shares to counteract a tax liability from the earlier sale of Microsoft stock. Some of the loonies who occasionally visit this thread will find this a difficult pill to swallow no doubt.
