Softechie: Is today's rally a "one-day wonder", due to extreme short-term oversold condition resulting from Sept. 11 events, or did the indices bottom last Friday (NASDAQ 1380 and DOW 8030)? What is your best guess?

FWIW, I think we are heading into a recession and any recovery has been pushed back to mid-2002 (at best). I think we will retest Friday's lows and possibly break through them in October.
