I do understand your anger and that your very livelihood is being threatened

I'm sure people with airline jobs feel the same way, for it is their livelihood too

few could argue that several airlines have been poorly run, look at their balance sheets. the transportation sector in general hasn't performed well

but [there always has to be a but] it's hardly fair to direct your frustrations and concerns [I'm not saying they're unwarranted or wrong] to an SIer who is connected to the very entity you've voiced opposition to. it only corners and makes a person defensive

also, imo [not that you asked me], questionable comments about ones family should be left off SI

btw, I love my travel agent. she has actually traveled to many of the places I have gone to. her knowledge and advice is invaluable when going to an 'unknown' destination. as for airline tickets, I may pay more through her, but she gets me on the plane, flight and seat I want. as I fearful flyer who flys often, that alone is priceless to me
