SOX bear market rallies:

So far in this bear market, the SOX has made 3 major rallies:

822 to 1281, up 56%
517 to 763, up 48%
454 to 710, up 56%

Notice, each rally was about 50%. If the recent 364 was a bottom, and if we do a 50% bear rally, that would take the SOX to 546. The area of 515-530 was a strong support line, we bounced there repeatedly between November 2000 and 9/20/01. Having failed, that support line may now be a strong resistance line.

I plan on selling into this rally, beginning when the SOX is 30% above it's lows, and be back to 40% cash when/if the SOX has made a 50% upmove, or if we stall in the low 500s..
