Red herring. This is not what is at issue in the current gun control debate. Bringing in nukes as an argument against the Second Amendment is a typical ploy of the gun grabbers.

I don't. The Bill of Rights does not say that the right to free speech is given only to those as "intelligent, responsible, ..." as me or thee. Nor does it say that about freedom of assembly, freedom of worship, freedom from warrantless searches, right to a speedy and fair trial, and so on and so forth.
The Second is on an equal footing with the First, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and so on.
