Was bin Laden a terrorist when we were training him and he was our proxy against the Soviet Union?

Kindly show me where he was flying planes into soviet buildings and killing soviet civilians.

Kindly show me where he was bombing world wide soviet embassies.

Now with respect to military targets...perhaps you have a point, but that was to stop larger global threat of Soviet Communist takeover of Afganistan and future Persian Gulf threat.
