Ibexx: I wish I had a better feel for the relation of volume to price movement. I think I have a grasp of the general rules, but the nuances of "short covering" and the relating of individual stock volume to over all volume is beyond me. I assume your point is that lower volume on QCOM while overall volume steady is not necessarily a negative for Q* share price if one considers relative short positions over all vs. Q* short positions. I don't know enough to agree or disagree. I remain blissfully ignorant, and very confused. <g> Pierre
