ratan, Interesting. I have followed the conversation. Here is my view of future events... First this newspaper article. news.telegraph.co.uk. My first idea was "well why hasn't this Islam extremist smiling face been arrested ? perhaps even shot? He will only kill some British soldier some day?? Answer... No point in inflaming the ordinary Muslims. That is a sensible view point here btw. Watch where he goes. Take notes. Listen to the extremist views. Track where they go and what they do. So what to do? The extremist Muslims have cowed the ordinary (non violent) Muslim from rising against them. The extremists are effective with threats of violence. Answer. Create a "soak away". A killing zone. A war maybe in (perhaps) Afghanistan that will attract Muslim extremists to fight the "holy war". The non violent folks stay at home. The West takes casualties but also inflicts casualties in a greater number upon the Muslim extremists. No matter what awful stunts they pull in foreign countries, it will only harden the West's desire to defeat them. Over a period of years they are killed in increasing numbers. Forget history "both the British and the Russians have been defeated in Afghanistan". Now is third time lucky. Those (extremist Muslim) guys have pissed off almost everyone on the planet! The USA lost Vietnam. But that is arguable now. This is also different kettle of fish. Those guys want to destroy us. We (the folks who wish to destroy terrorism) are the guerillas who will fight this order of terror until it is destroyed though attrition where they will lose out no matter what stakes they wish to play. They use Airliners...the West will use Napalm, and they are not short of other types of ordinance either. That's my understanding of what's going to happen. Wars of attrition are terrible. WW1 has left it's impression on this country. Interesting if the likes of Turks end up on the same side as us. I have watched what going on in Russia, and there might be a common agenda. Last point, and the most important one. I listened to a mother of one victims from the WTC tradegy on TV. Even though she was most grievously hurt, in her tears she asked why does these terrible things need to happen, there should be a better way for us human beings to conduct our business. I agree on that point.... when is a sensible agreement going to occur ? I always have hope of course. One is lost without it. Even Bin very Louden, if he loves his wives and children, should know that. If he doesn't know that he is a real dumbass regards. pearly.
