>what we are witnessing is the creation of yet another bureaucracy.< Normally, I am 100% against more government bureaucracy. However, in this specific situation, I think an office which co-ordinates efforts to protect Americans in their own country is drastically needed. The recent terrorists attacks to me were "sending a message" that we have to increase our security in the United States, at our borders, at our airports, and we need to review and correct the immigration process that allowed known foreign terrorists to enter our country.
