After 9/11 the value of fast routers increased even more. Demand for high speed optical networking is now going to explode. It might take a few months for it to become apparent. And what does AVCI have to do with it? Their box makes a good paperweight. You didn't see THEM testing with LR did you? Just because the market threw optical stocks out with the bath water the past year doesn't say ONE THING about the value of the CW technology or it's prospects. This lull in telecom will end soon. When it does, the bigger, faster, more cost-effective products will out sell slow legacy iron. Consider the points made in this article (networking is discussed further down). messages.yahoo.com Networks will now have to get faster and more secure. That means faster, software-rich routers will be needed more than ever.
