Charlie, note also that the list does NOT include Iran, Iraq (obviously), or even India, but does include Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as well as China. Since Globalstar satellites try to route the call to ground level service facilities wherever possible, it is unlikely that there are any ground facilities in the area including Pakistan and Afghanistan. But I think that the list of countries where service is available means that satellite coverage is available everywhere. One could presumably set up portable base stations if necessary in these or surrounding countries.
